More on online learning

Listen/read this recent NPR story on online courses. Enrollment in online courses has steadily grown in the past few years. In Fall, 2006, almost 20 percent of students in higher ed were enrolled in at least one online course. Some colleges are even requiring students to take one online course before graduating. Now there are more and more high schools adding online courses to their curriculum. What about Waynflete? With all of the tensions in our current schedule: not enough class time, difficulty of meeting the arts requirement, and the challenge of scheduling all of our classes, would offering some courses online be an option?
